On the second day of river rafting on the American River (near Sacramento) we weren't required to wear helmets. After "surfing" the rapid I kind of purposely fell out of the raft to get the full experience (since I was a rookie). When I tried to surface I was under the raft so I had to move to the side to escape. Then something hit me on the head. I think it was my friend Becky's paddle. She probably saw me and took the perfect opportunity to knock a good one on me...
No stitches! Let's get outta here and hit some more rapids!
